This article assumes you have a DTEN Display, at least one DTEN Share USB Dongle, and a personal computer (Apple or Windows). It also assumes you are familiar with how to use your USB Dongle.
Follow these simple tips to ensure you have the best experience sharing and controlling content with your DTEN:
Did you know?
- If you open the DTEN Share App, you can EXTEND or MIRROR your desktop. Depending on how you share, your DTEN changes operation slightly.
- If you select "Mirror", you are able to see and control the same content from both screens.
- If you select "Extend", you can gain a second monitor with your DTEN but the touch screen option is disabled.
- If you are trying to extend your desktop to other external monitors with your Personal Computer in combination with your DTEN, this works, but touch control from the DTEN is disabled.
If you want to control your content from the DTEN, use the "Mirror" option but if you are trying to gain another desktop/monitor, use the "Extend" option.
